Our first great harvest!

I know it doesn't look like much, but it marks the beginning of our journey. We will have successes and failures. We will learn along the way, and we will eat these delicious radishes while we're at it!

There weren't many - we had picked and eaten some fresh - but wanted to get them out of the ground before they turned woody. You have to harvest your radishes, instead of just leaving them in the ground to "continue to grow" since they turn woody after they've grown.

I'll be planting another set soon. I should have started more about a week after starting these, so I could have a continuous harvest, but alas. We were not living in here yet.

We'll continue to show you the little bit we have planted, and the plan for our larger harvests. In the meantime...I'll be adding some of these to our dinner tonight!
